Definition

Groups of 7 people with ACNA. An activity for mountaineers who frequent avalanche terrain with the need to be autonomous in the evaluation of the snow, the terrain and the execution of self-rescue. Based on the MountainSafety methodology and updated to the latest advances and studies on the subject

Aimed at ski mountaineering, freeride, snowboarding and snowshoeing enthusiasts (with/without previous training).

Planning

Rotating workshops: check group, 4 search phases, shoveling,use of probe , multi-victim
The content of the course is eminently practical and a series of workshops will be held in the field where students will be able to improve their skills and knowledge in self-rescue.
Demonstrations, resolution of a multi-victim avalanche scenario and practical execution in small groups will be included.
We will also provide printed material so that the student can take home the avalanche rescue sheets in physical format

Materials

DVA, shovel and probe.
Appropriate clothing for winter activity, food, drink
Progression equipment (ski mountaineering, splitboard or snowshoes)

Price

The price of this activity is €70 (1 day) - if you are ACNA member you have a discount, let us know-. Option to do the activity on Saturday or Sunday .
If you want accommodation with the activity, the price is 150€ (2 nights in with breakfast included).

Accommodation

We have the Aran Hostel reserved exclusively for Ternua Experiencie. It is mandatory to book two nights and the regimen is bed + breakfast in a shared room.
